Yeah.
This is the kind of circus-ry that goes on in our household. I was playing this game with the little one...
You know, when you balance them on your feet and they pretend they are an airplane. He was having fun until the 14 year old thought she should get a turn.
Check him out in the back ground waiting for another go at it. Once she was up, it tickled her tummy and she started wriggling around until she collapsed on me busting my nose. It's not really broke, but it sure hurt like it was. I hate that feeling ~ the eyes water, the nose runs and you're certain it's blood and then you have a dull headache the rest of the night.
Damn kids.

I do this with my little guy too! He LOVES it!!
I have to becareful though cause once we start, he doesn't want to stop....when I put him down he says "gen" "gen" "gen".
which of course because I'm such a sucker for his adorable face I give in but when I finally have to say NO MORE... he cries and cries:(
How funny! We do this too! Both kids love it and then like chesneygirl said, my 2 year old screams like you chopped off a limb when you say no more! :(
I used to play this with my brother! But then when he was almost too big for me to hold him up like that anymore, I told him he had to give me a ride instead. He was going to try, too! Brave, brave, baby boy!
OMG! That is too funny! You're family is halarious NNM! :D
See, that looks like something big ol' Anna would ASK me to do only I would refuse, because I know better with her. John M. on the other hand, I could ride all day long.
Sorry about the busted nose. :(
My sister and I used to do this when we were little...and my hubby and I now do it. :P
And...when sis and niece were down for Easter I got to see the joy of a child doing this all over again. Little kids help us relive our childhoods - I guess I'd never really looked at like that until my sister had one!
What a great mother you are! Most mothers would be like, "Your too big for that." Sometimes you still want to be a kid, even when you are trying your hardest to be an adult.
Lucky for you that your nose wasn't broken and both your eyes didn't turn black! Em is way too big for that! LOL
What the crap. I know I commented earlier ...
LOL - I pulled a Naive! ;)
You are so funny, Michelle! I just love reading your blog!! You crack me up. I hope I have the same close relationships with my teenagers that you do with yours when my time comes. You know when to have fun and when to crack the whip! You have done a good job with those two kiddos. I have to laugh at "damn kids" though--I can so relate. I don't think I ever used the f-word as many times as I've had to in the past 14 months (the red head pushes me over the edge). It's never in front of the kids though (well, sort-of not...I sometimes spell it to J.V.)
Chesneygirl~ Drew will do this as long as I allow, but fortunetly he doesn't get ticked when I stop. Yet.
Nelly~ Ditto. But at least it's great excersize.
Bainwen~ Can you still do this with little bro?
Joy~ I don't think hilarious is the right word. Dimented maybe.
Renee~ The nose will heal, the pride not as quickly. :)
Itchy~ I can only imagine. :P
Spinner~ Aw, thanks for that. You made my whole day.
Dribbler~ I made my husband laugh too.
It's Just Me~ I can only imagine who would get hurt if she tried to do that to me!
Martie~ Remember when that did happen to me though?
Clew~ Isn't it great to be me?
Cathy~ I don't even try to stop it anymore. Isn't that bad?
